I want to buy a franchise re-sale (operating business) within the next three months but, I have not decided on one yet. I would like to get pre-qualified on a business loan and I understand I need a business pan for this. Is it too early for a business plan?

do what you want. its a free country, isnt it?
Its never too early. If your going into business you need to do as much research as possible. When i did my business plan i set it out in a question and answer format. The bank said it was one of the best ones they had seen. You need to do one to be realistic with yourself. Go for it, you have nothing to loose. You will need to spend a few weeks doing it. Trust me though- have breaks or you will do your head in. Go for a walk, or coffee in between to clear your head… Goodluck

It is a good gauge of what you are going into and possible futures for the business… You might even find out that the business might not be profitable in the long run and get out of it way before you start it which can save you alot of money…
